Grampound Road CC are delighted to announce Johnny Cowling as the headline act on Wednesday 4th October 2023 as part of a festival of events leading up to the End of Season Dinner on Saturday 7th October 2023.
The legendary Cornish funnyman is returning to The Road.
Johnny has been delighting audiences for over 25 years with his quick wit, Cornish charm and musical talents.
We can't wait to welcome him to Grampound Road Cricket Club and you're all invited.
With a CV boasting Take Me Out, Britain's Got Talent, Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing On Ice, supporting Jack Whitehall and Paddy McGuiness on tour and, of course, drivetime daily on Pirate FM - Johnny's natural and engaging style has seen him travel the world.
But he's never happier than performing in his home county of Cornwall - a topic which crops up frequently in his performance.
Be prepared for Johnny to venture into the crowd, discuss the changing face of Cornwall, how to deal with holiday makers and so much more.
The event will take place in a marquee pitched at Grampound Road Cricket Club and ticket price includes a pasty. A full bar will be open all evening.
